Documentation incomplete |

We were about to return the unit because the turntable would not spin. I decided to call the company first because I saw one review that mentioned vague instructions. The help desk immediately had me pull the arm to the right until I heard a pop. This engaged the turn table. To stop the turn table I pulled the arm to the left until the pop. Very easy but was not in my documentation. |

Plays albums flawlessly |

I received my record player and when it came out of the box it smelled like a new car! I have been using it for a few weeks now and haven't experienced any problems in playback. One slight issue has developed; the plastic piece that sets the needle onto the record now bumps around. It is bad enough that I cant use it because the needle doesn't come straight down and if I can get it to drop where it should, it jumps over onto the grooves. Nothing I cant handle just using my hand, but I do wish the construction was sturdy enough for that not to have happened. All in all I am very pleased with the player and plan on using it for its full lifetime. |

Nostalgic |

I purchased this turntable as a Christmas present for my grandchildren to play some old vinyl records they had found in the attic. I'm sure these records haven't been played for at least 20 years and happily this turntable did not disappoint. The sound was much better than I had anticipated. It has an authentic case and we are all enjoying the connection to our past. |

The record player arrived in timely fashion. It works well, even though it works in an unorthodox way. You gotta be very careful to follow the [somewhat vague] instructions, and, above all, be patient. How would I get a backup needle. No information on that is available. |

case too small to play 33 1/3 records |

I bougt this as a gift to my parents for christmas-spoke to them today and they were so disappointed because the albums my son gave them as well as there own 33 1/3 records were too big and kept hitting the back of the record case when the record spun around-I don't know why no one else wrote about this but that seems to be the problem with the one I bought. Will return for something else- |
